The girls participated in a theatre workshop this summer and performed the play High School Musical 2 at the Lehi Arts Center. They were cast as Sharpettes with lots of singing and dancing parts and Kelsie had a few lines. They loved it! We lucked out and ended up with Mr. Smith and his wife as the directors of the play which made it extra fun for the girls! They love performing!

Family Reunion

We went to the new Bean Museum. It was really nice with lots to see. My boys were most impressed by the GIGANTIC elevator. They could've rode in it all day!

2 months old
May 25th this little guy was 2 months old. He's growing SO fast. He weighed in at 14.5 pounds at his 2 month check up. They like babies to double their birth weight by 6 months, but he doubled his by 2 months. He's just an over achiever. :) I'm sad he's growing so quick and I miss those early days when he was still so little. But, he is absolutely the happiest, most content baby I've ever had. He's such a sweet, happy boy and we love him to pieces.

Emily's Piano Recital
Emily had her 3rd piano recital. She played a version of "frere Jacques". She had it all memorized and did a great job. She loves piano lessons.

Kelsie's 12th Birthday!
Kelsie turned 12 on May 28th! It's hard to believe she is 12. The time goes so fast. She has grown into a beautiful girl inside and out. She is a thoughtful, sweet girl with a witty sense of humor. She enjoys acting and singing, playing the piano, making bracelets, baking anything and everything, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She LOVES animals. She is an amazing babysitter and a great help with her 4 younger siblings. She adores her newborn brother and is like a 2nd mom to him. She works hard and has already achieved great things in the last 12 years and we know there are great things to come for this sweet girl. We love you, Kelsie!
The Young Women decorated the door for her bday. She's in Young Women's! Crazy! She woke up to this fun surprise and a new outfit (pictured above). Then she headed to school for for an Awards Assembly and 6th grade graduation. It was quite the day to remember! A lot of milestones all in one day!
Awards Assembly and 6th Grade Graduation
Kelsie received the Presidential Gold Award for Academic Excellence for having straight A's for 4th-6th grade. She also received awards for being on Student Council and being a Recess Duty Manager. We are so proud of her! She works hard and has achieved great things during her time at Thunder Ridge.
Kelsie and Brinley with their Presidential Awards. Brinley was one of Kelsie's closest school friends this year and they just happen to share the same last name and think it's the greatest thing ever. They are always trying to convince everyone they are cousins. Later that afternoon was 6th Grade Graduation. I can't believe she's graduating from 6th grade and is on to Junior High. Kelsie had an amazing year. She served on Student Council which she absolutely loved. She also was a Recess Duty Manager, starred in the musical, and still managed to get perfect grades. It was an eventful year and she loved being so involved at school. She received the "best actress" award from her peers and teachers.

6th Grade Graduate
She's done at T Ridge and headed to Junior High. I don't think either of us are ready for this big change, but here it comes. Love this picture of her on that last day of Elementary School. She looks like she's contemplating the future and is ready to take on the world!

Home Depot Fun
John takes the kids to the building workshops and they love them! This month they built bug catchers.
I joined them this month and it was so fun! Usually I just sign them up and send them on their way on Saturdays. :)
