Bear Lake Reunion

We had a great family vacation with the Durrant's at Bear Lake.  Here is most of the crew!  We stayed in an amazing cabin with gorgeous views of the lake.  We spent two days at the lake and had a ball doing all kinds of things we never get to do.  Uncle Mike took us out on his boat and the girls got to knee board and tube for the first time.  We all got to take a turn on the jet ski that Uncle James rented and pretty much loved that!  We built lots of sandcastles, fed the seagulls, visited and had an amazing time!  It was a super fun end to our summer.

John and the boys loved trying out the jet ski!
Matson and Kenna never left each other's sides the whole two days at the lake.  They had a ball playing in the water and sand and were SUPER adorable together.
The girls loved tubing, knee boarding, and hanging out on the boat with their cousins.

Carter picked a few water fights and spent most of his time building some elaborate moats for his sand creations.

Vari and I had some fun with our cameras and had a little photo shoot of this little guy.  He loved hanging out by the water and was pleasant as always.  He's a good baby!

Little Tanner

Just came across these pictures of Tanner, taken in June.  Can't believe how much he's grown in 2 short months.  Love this little guy to pieces!

Getting Big!

Swimming Lessons

The boys had swimming lessons this week.  We went to Draper for private lessons and they learned a ton!  Carter was swimming after one lesson.  The teacher invited the girls to come practice swimming in her pool while the boys had their lesson.  They got a lot of practice in and even a few side lessons from the teacher!  It was a fun week!
On the last day of lessons the girls wanted to buy para cord bracelets.  They told me all about how this bracelet would save their life in an emergency.  I was sold and all the kids ended up with them.  We couldn't have Matson left behind in an emergency!  Plus, one of my cute preschoolers made them to sell.   The kids said we need one for dad so he could use the rope to get out the window if there's a fire at work!  John assured them he's on the first level and he can climb out without one.  :)

Aquarium

We went to the new Living Planet Aquarium for John's work party. It was neat to see the penguins and the whales and we had a fun lunch with his company.  Apparently we aren't aquarium people though.  We were all tired of the place after 2 hours and wanted a break from the crowds.  It was crazy busy!

4 months old

This little guy is 4 months old.  He rolls over now, grabs his toes, coos at everything that has a face (including dolls and stuffed toys :), plays with rattles, and is a smiley, happy guy.  He weighs 17 pounds and is 25 inches long, which explains why we continue to get shocked looks when we tell people he is 4 months old.  He has outgrown all his baby clothes and wears 9 month clothes already.

Babies grabbing their toes might be my favorite stage of all babyhood.  I think it's the cutest thing in the world!
He's getting so big.  We love him to pieces.
