Fall Soccer

This fall we had three kids in soccer which meant we spent every Saturday at the soccer fields.  I was thrilled when the final game was played, but the kids and John miss it.  They love soccer!
It was Matson's first season of soccer and he loved every minute!  He was more interested in chatting with friends and running around than trying to score a goal, but he sure had fun!  And he was past proud to have his very own soccer medal!  I loved watching him play.  Four year olds are adorable.

John coached Carter's team this fall.  They had fun going to practices and games together.  Carter is intense and driven on the soccer field (and in all aspects of life)!  He gets a bit disappointed when his team mates don't share his passion for the game-we are working on that.  :)  He has a strong leg and can kick the ball all the way across the field.  He scored a handful of goals and is great at defense.

Emily didn't make it to any practices (much to the disappointment of her coach) because our fall schedule was so crazy, but she is a good little player and scored several goals and was always trying to get the other girls to pass to her.  (They didn't really get that part of the game).  She plays best when her dad is on the sidelines yelling at her and cheering her on!

At the Pumpkin Patch 2014

Went to our favorite pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins and take pictures!  Kelsie (12) Emily (9) Carter (6) Matson (4) Tanner (6 mo).

September Highlights

Emily came home from school with a fish!  We now have three pets!  Aahh!
All the neighbor friends doing water painting!  My boys best friends are all girls!
Cutie boy took the longest nap of his life and was so peaceful I had to grab a picture.  Yes, he has a pink ballerina blanket from Emily.  It's his favorite blanket. :)
I was in charge of PTA Fitness Week at school.  We organized recess games which the kids loved!  Here is Carter, Will, and Matson playing Red Rover!
Another Fitness Week picture of Emily and friends playing Red Rover!  This was the best PTA thing I've been in charge of.  I loved hanging out with the kids.

Tanner is 5 months old and too big for his bouncy seat.  Every time I stick him in it, he wiggles right out and grins at me!
He's big enough to sit in his little car.  He looks SO big in it!
He's sitting up all alone (5 months) and so happy about it!  The blanket is his new favorite.  He picked it out himself at Target and screamed everytime we tried to put it back.  He's spoiled already.  :)
Matson's new haircut and "faux" hawk!  It's so cute but he won't let me keep it like that for long. :(

Crawling

He turned 7 months and started crawling that very day!

He's my earliest crawler and I was so sad.  He's growing up too fast.  But, he's so proud of himself!  You can't wipe that grin off his face!

Happy 10th Birthday!

Happy 10th Birthday to our cute Emily!  I can't believe she's 10 years old!  It just seems like yesterday she surprised us all by arriving three weeks early.  She has brought us so much happiness since then.  Emily loves gymnastics, singing, dancing, jumping rope, playing the computer, and playing school with her American Girl dolls.  She is a sweet, sensitive girl who is very aware of others feelings and is very thoughtful.  She is energetic and fun to be around.  She expresses herself best through writing and we can always find little notes and writing all around her room :).  Her little notes make my day!  We love you, Emily!  Stop growing up!

Pancakes and Pajamas

The morning after Halloween was Emily's friend party.  She invited four friends (and her sister) over for a pancake breakfast in pajamas!  They loved it and giggled all morning!
Afterwards we took them swimming at the legacy center.  There was NO ONE there that morning and they loved having the pool almost all to themselves.  They had a blast swimming and I had to pull them out of the pool after 3 hours!  It was a fun day with Emily's close friends and way less stressful than a party!
