Names

We are really still struggling with what to name our little boy due to arrive in 9 days (not that I'm counting). So if anyone has an opinion on which name they like, or new ideas, we're open to them. These are the names we're considering:

Tanner
Matson
Bradley
Matthew

Stories of the Other Kids Names....

We knew Kelsie would be Kelsie long before she came along. I was one of those girls who had a compiled list of future baby names. Kelsie was top on the list. When we were dating we were discussing names (funny he'd talk names then and not now :) and he had seen the name Kelsie in an office he was cleaning at the ASB and just loved it. From the day we found out she was a girl we knew she'd be our Kelsie Ann.

Emily was a little more complicated. I had my names, John had his. I liked Kylie, Allie, Kennedy, Paige. John liked Emily, Allison, Natalie. The only one we sort of agreed on was Emily. But it was the #1 baby girl name for the last ten years....I hated the idea of a billion Emily's. Right after she was born, John handed her to me and said, "she's Emily isn't she?" As much as I hated to admit it, he was right. The minute I saw her she was our Emily Paige.

Carter was supposed to be Bradley (that's John's middle name). That was always going to be our first boy's name. The problem was that Carter was never a Bradley, in my mind. He was always a Carter. In the end, I handed John a list of names on the night before he was born. On the list were three baby names (Carter, Bradley, and Matson) with various middle names. He said that Carter John popped out and he knew that would be his name.

And now to the current dilemma. What to name boy #2...if anyone has opinions on which name they like...or some new ideas...we're open to them!

So you already know my vote! I love Matson!!! Who cares if people can't spell it! You probably already deal with that with your other kids so whats one more to add to the list! Our #6 was going to be named Niles (after Mike's grandpa). I love that name, but oh well, so much for that! I almost gave Brycelynn the middle name of Paige, but I didn't want my nieces to think I have favorites (I have a niece named Paige). Matson, Matson, Matson!

I absolutely love Matthew. Classic but there aren't millions of them. Tanner is my second choice. Boy names are hard! I am also a huge fan of Luke, just to throw another one out there! :) Good luck! Can't wait to hear what you decide!

I'm still a Tanner fan--plus, then his initials will be T.D.---touchdown! :) OUr boy name list was 20 names long and we still didn't know what to name Kyle until 15 minutes before we left the hospital. It's a tough decision, but I'm so glad you are gonna have to decide SOOOON! Hooray, he's almost here!

I am a little partial to Bradley since that is my maiden name! I like all of the names you are choosing between! Good luck with your delivery...and your decision! I can think of a lot of boy names but then again, I never was able to use any of them!
