Treehouse Museum

We took the kids to the Treehouse Museum for the day. We called it our "vacation" day in a feeble attempt to convince the kids that we went on a vacation even though we had no ability to go anywhere this summer. Kelsie ate up the idea which is all we were looking for since she's the only one old enough to care. We had never been to the new museum and the kids loved it. They were entertained for most of the day and I got a billion cute pictures so I had to post a lot. It is an awesome place. We'd totally recommend if if you haven't been.

Firefighters to the rescue!

Carter getting a ticket to board the train. He loved this.

The girls playing school in the pioneer classroom.

Kelsie and Emily loved the doll room and spent forever examining the hundreds of dolls.

Stepping into Mexico.

Building an airplane. He was pretty intense about his work.

Emily down on the farm.

John feeling very presidential

The girls loved the area where they could play doctor and take care of their newborn baby. It was very realistic and they would have played there all day.

When we got home we had a Wii Marathon and then had pizza, treats, and watched movies together. We told the girls they could stay up until midnight watching movies, of course we assumed they'd fall asleep long before that. We learned our lesson on that one. They managed to stay awake until midnight and never even dozed off. Crazy kids. Next time we'll make 10:00 sound really exciting and fun.
